COVID-19 INFORMATION

Protect yourself and your community from COVID-19. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Avoid close contact with people who are sick, and stay home when you are sick.

The Florida Department of Health (Department) is working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to monitor the current outbreak of COVID-19 and is actively working to ensure that the most up-to-date CDC guidance is quickly and accurately disseminated to local partners. The Department is coordinating with our local partners to investigate, confirm, contain and report any suspected cases, should they occur.

Questions related to COVID-19 should be directed to the Florida Department of Health’s email or dedicated COVID-19 Call Center at 1-866-779-6121. Deerfield Beach residents concerned they may have been exposed to COVID-19 should call 954-412-7300 BEFORE traveling to any health care facility.
