Attention: Deerfield Beach Residents
The City of Deerfield Beach activated more than 30-thousand CodeRed notifications (calls, texts, emails) during the recent boil water alert. We want to encourage you to sign up for Code Red Emergency Notifications, it only takes a few minutes. This video will walk you through the easy process .

The CodeRED system gives us the ability to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone calls, texts and emails to targeted areas or the entire city at a rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour. The system is geographically based, which means street addresses are needed to select which phone numbers will receive emergency notification calls in any given situation.

Some examples of times when the CodeRED system could be utilized: drinking water contamination, natural disasters, bomb threats or other crisis situations. #DFB
